Yesterday I popped into Target as a post-flu-shot reward for the kids (they learn so young) and of course had to make a quick pass through the clothing department. I spied a number of sweaters and cardigans in a fabric I haven't seen in a while: Chenille.
If you're a '90s girl like me, you remember this fabric well. It seemed so novel at the time. Soft and cozy, everyone loved it. Then it kinda had its moment in the sun and we didn't see much of it...until now.
Target must have heard everyone's pleas for longer, chunkier, better knits, because I saw a bunch at my store yesterday. And yes those included chenille, like this amazing cardigan shown here. Nordstrom has a great selection of chenille sweaters, too. Take your pick depending on your budget and how you feel about this fabric's latest incarnation.
