6 Holiday Party Outfit Ideas for When It's Freezing Out

Holiday party, Christmas, New Year's Eve outfit ideas for when it's freezing outside!
I got a message from reader Carly asking for a warm-styled New Year's Eve outfit. She'll be ringing in the New Year in Lake Tahoe where it's literally freezing! I always have the same problem when I try to get dressed-up for the holidays because I. am. always. cold. So, I looked to some of my fave bloggers for inspiration.

Here are 6 outfit ideas that will keep you toasty at all your holiday parties:

1. The Mom Edit pairs plaid with a fur vest and sexy heels. Key Piece: Fur Vest (under $35!)

2. Molly Sims tops a silky slip dress with a chunky sweater for a glam monochrome look. Key Piece: Slip Dress (on sale for $21!)

3. Sydne Style is matching her cozy sweaters to her statement booties. Key Piece: Brocade Booties (just $38!)

4. Brighton the Day's navy velvet blazer look is perfect for a holiday office party. Key Piece: Crushed Velvet Blazer ($39.99)

5. Extra Petite paired a camisole with a furry jacket. You could cover up when you're cold and show a peek of skin in between. Key Piece: Faux Fur Jacket

6. A sweaterdress with over-the-knee boots is always a great holiday party look for when it's freezing outside. Key Piece: Over the Knee Boots ($39.99) and Sweaterdress ($20)
