I'm a little late to the party, but I just discovered there's a word for all the winter style we've been seeing on Instagram lately. You know, the fleece pajamas, layered throws, fuzzy slippers, mugs of cocoa and fairy-lights everywhere. It's called hygge, the Danish art of staying cozy, and I for one, am ready to embrace this trend wholeheartedly so long as temps stay in the single digits. Plus, I'm 29 weeks pregnant, so real pants are becoming hard to justify.
With $20 Kohl's cash in hand, I headed to my local store yesterday in hopes of getting my hygge on with some cozy joggers and long layering tees to fit my ever-growing bump. The Sonoma brand is alllll about coziness this time of year, with lots of oversized cardigans, updated sweatshirts and stylish sweatpants to choose from.
Here's what I found worth sharing...

I loved this hooded cardigan ($34.99) in the prettiest shade of dusty rose. Wearing size small here.

Let's talk about these layering tunic tanks for a moment - decent weight, soft, and long enough to fit my bump! On sale for $10 each, I picked up three colors. Size medium.

This French terry sweatshirt ($24.99) is so cute and offers a little something different for lounging or running errands. I needed the medium (wearing small here) but they didn't have my size. Might order it online.
On the bottom, I'm wearing these jogger pants ($19.99) in the size small. Again, if I had found the size medium I would have scooped these up in a heartbeat! They don't feel like the best quality but I love the modern look and drawstring waist. No offense to Kohl's or its employees, but the racks were super disorganized making it tough to shop. I may order these online, too.
I forgot to take a picture, but I bought these SO jogger pants instead and I'm really happy with them. Got the size large. Find these in the juniors section. I love the bit of ruching by the ankle. Five colors, just $17.99 each!

I didn't try on this vest because I figured it would be tricky with the bump but I am so in love with the look! Looks like they run true to size.

Camo, olive, eggplant, navy, all so good. And just $34.99!

This cardigan looked like something you might find at Nordstrom. Five colors, $24.99 each. Click through to see how Kohl's styled the cream one with a floral dress - such a cute look. Love.

Here's the hooded cardigan again...

...comes in a bunch of great colors.

Here's the French terry sweatshirt again in berry rush. Love this color right now.

Here's the sherpa cardigan again. Also in plus. (Most of these items are available in plus-size actually!)

These v-neck cable-knit sweaters looked nice in person. Add leggings and boots and you're all set.

Shawl collar cardigan, $24.99

Denim joggers in the juniors section caught my eye. These count as real pants, no...?

A few more random goodies in the juniors section follow...

And that's about it! Have you been to Kohl's recently? What did you see/buy/love?
