Gosh I have so much on my mind lately but I'll just jump right in and share my latest Kohl's buys instead! After Penelope's 2 month check-up, I stopped at Kohl's to treat myself to a little mom time and some summer shopping...because let's face it, those check-ups are more stressful for us than they are for our babes!
I went straight for the Sonoma section as I've had a lot of luck with them lately in terms of sizing and quality and practicality. The styles are really similar to what you might find at Old Navy or Gap. You need to use a discerning eye because not all the Sonoma styles are cute. Some are old lady, there I said it. Nothing wrong with that just be careful! Here are the pieces I bought that I think look tasteful and stylish, EACH ITEM UNDER $20!!!
Above, this berry pink top. It's a split-neck tank that skims the body and looks adorable with white shorts or white jeans. Add wedges and a straw bag, maybe some metallic jewelry and you're all set. Love this pop of color for summer. Fits TTS, I'm wearing size small (similar to LOFT sizing).
My bottoms are these white skinny jeans and they are not see-thru! I repeat, not see-thru! Okay, don't wear black undies with them, but if you're wearing nude color - which you should be - they won't show. Score. Fits TTS, wearing size 4 for reference (I squeeeezed into them. #vain)

Next up, this pink plaid button down. Another easy top you could wear with shorts or jeans. Wearing small.
I also recommend this pretty top with a little boho embroidery. I liked the black the best, it looked the most expensive. Great with white denim.
Next up, this tank top with the most adorable elephant print in navy and white. Love! Very flattering and I don't need to wear a bra with it (TMI!?) Again, I wouldn't recommend the other color schemes as much as this one, but just click the image below and you'll see all your choices including the top I purchased:
Finally, I took home these shorts. So cute for summer, I'd probably wear them around the house or to the beach. Loose and striped and adorable. Wearing size 6, I had to size up in all the shorts but that's probably just me, I'd say they fit TTS I just wanted a looser fit.
And here's a cute striped t-shirt dress that I'd buy if I weren't nursing. Adorable, classic, essential for summer!
What I didn't find were jean shorts and white shorts - they were all sold out in my size at my store. But check online for lots more cute shorts options from Sonoma, under $20.
