This was my first year participating in the Nordstrom sale, EVER, let alone with early access! I’m sure we’ve all noticed that things are selling out faster than our brains can handle. But I found that if you search by what you’re really looking for, as opposed to just what’s popular, there’s still much to choose from! Read on to see how, what, and why I chose!
I made sure I put a little thought into my shopping beforehand. It is beyond easy to go nuts when sales like this come around and since we are all Budget Babes here, maybe this shopping criteria I made for myself will help you too:
• I see myself wearing this more than once in a blue moon (aka nothing overly trendy)
• This is appropriate for fall, but could also crossover into other seasons
• This is an essential and/or an item that has been on my list for a while

Buying jeans online is always tricky, but Dianna says Nordstrom is great with their size charts so I’m taking the leap! BLANKNYC always gets rave reviews and I’m in need of a good black pair.
Madewell Ryder Cardigan (in Heather Elm)

Anyone else a major Madewell fan? No way was I going to miss out on the chance for over 30% off on one of their cardigans! I’m already envisioning cozy fall days with this one.

Dianna picked these as well and I couldn’t resist a pair for myself! Black boots are a must and I think they will translate well from late summer with dresses, to jeans when the colder months arrive.
