Holiday Gift Guide 2018: Best Picks for Kids

Holiday gift ideas from a mom of three!
Happy Thanksgiving! Cyber Week is here so I wanted to share a few great gift ideas for young kids, starting at just $12! As a mom of three, all I had to do was waltz around the living room - preferably without tripping on any Legos - to put together this quick guide of gifts that kids (and parents) will truly love.

So let's get started!

1. Rescuebots: My boys play with their Transformers "Rescuebots" A LOT, and this is always the favorite when other little friends come over to play, too.

2. The About Series by Cathryn Sill: We've been gifted a dozen books in this series so far and my kids love them. These are beautiful and educational and my kids reach for them over and over again.

3. Pillowfort Braided Rug (various sizes and colors): I got one of these at Target and I love it. Some kid gifts can be for mom, right?! Love the handmade look!

4. Shining Light Dolls: Full disclosure, my sister is the talented creator and maker of these tiny dolls! Perfect stocking stuffers! So many to choose from and safe for all ages.

5. Activity Table and Stools: Wow. I love this table and stool set so much. You should buy it and set it up before Christmas! Great for crafts, snacks, games, you name it. Smart design that can to go anywhere in your home.

6. Stomp Rocket: We just got this as a gift and it's an instant hit. Provides hours of safe entertainment indoors and outdoors!

7. Thermos Funtainer: I was shocked at the price when my husband bought these for our kids but they have proven to be worth it. They've survived a lot of drops and worse. Encourages the kids to drink plenty of water all day!

8. Magnetic Tile Set: Here's another toy that's not a waste of money! My kids play with these for hours. Totally worth it. I've found them at Marshalls and TJMaxx for less.

9. Carters Snow Boots: Come in different colors for boys and girls. We got these for our three year old and love that he can put them on himself! Very comfortable and well made.
