First Look: Sigerson Morrison for Target

"Electtra" Suede Booties in Blue with Black Belt $39.99
Available for October – December Issues

Here's a sampling of the upcoming Sigerson Morrison for Target footwear collection. I've never been blown away by Kari Sigerson and Miranda Morrison's expensive line, and I've got to say I'm not loving their cheap-chic collection, either. I get that the embellishments are meant to be festive for the holidays, but they look rather cheap. Instead of giving us plastic for $30, why can't Target give us leather for, say, $60? Is that impossible to produce? I'm afraid these styles will end up on the clearance racks instead of your closets, but I could be wrong - are you feeling these looks? Look for them at Target stores and Target.com on October 12 through December 26, 2008.

a little to embelisshed for my taste
the blue with black belt suede boot seems to be the best so far
not as cheap looking

Ew to all of it. They all look very cheap. The bootie with the studs could have been nicer with genuine suede, a round toe, and a higher heel.

Wow, for me personally, I just don't see anything really appealing here. I like that fact that they are using real suede but the 80s throwback heel and the low height of the heel is killing the whole deal for me.

I actually like the black studded flats. All the rest are pretty fug.

I like the black flats with the "jewels" - i think those could be great for the holidays to dress up a pair of jeans and a cute top.... the last couple pairs look very "70's" to me - no way!

I'm pretty certain that the flats with jewels can also be found on clearance at old navy.

I like the flats too but wonder if they are comfortable. I would probably pass!

Really? You're not a fan? OK, I hear you on all the bauble-age, but those black booties are fantastic. I'd wear the studded and non-studded versions in a heartbeat.

I do, however, agree that better materials for these Target designer collections would be glorious. The design is there, the quality is NOT.

I love the first pair - the colour is insane!

meh. i can't think of anything to say about it all other than... meh. it's like bad forever21.

i agree about the quality with sal. nothing wrong with the styles. as a person who can't wear super-high heels (or won't), the heel heights are perfect, the shoes are pretty, but i want something that looks pricey, and isn't.
