Mom jeans are having a moment, and I am so glad to see this high-waist relaxed denim style getting the recognition it deserves! Here are two budget-friendly pairs of mom jeans I found that work for me, plus a few tips on how to style them. (Hint: It's easier than you thought!)
First up are these Madewell mom jeans. I am absolutely loving this pair. At $79.50, they are an affordable "brand name" option. I felt confident the moment I put them on. The fabric is substantial yet soft. These fit true to size.
You'll want to show off your waist, so go ahead and tuck your top (or try a bodysuit! I do not own any so I couldn't demonstrate.) For shoes, I found that an open-side flat (similar) or trendy mule (similar) works well with the cropped length...
Or an ankle bootie...
Option two are these Wild Fable mom jeans, $22 at Target. The distressing adds a playful edge. These will be great for spring and summer with a tie-front top (or any other short/crop top style)...
You could even "dress them up" a little with a half-tuck camisole and heels...
These fit true to size and I'll probably wear them with sandals and a graphic tee for a casual look.
So there you have it. Nothing ground-breaking! But hopefully these simple looks will inspire you to try the mom jean trend and make it your own!
* Exact match items are linked in the widget above; for all other items, I linked up similar items under each outfit photo.
