Full Look: Thakoon for Target

Images of the Thakoon for Target collection, which launches December 28 in stores and online, are now available for your viewing pleasure. Is it amazing? No, but I do love the printed cardigans and full skirts, so let's hope the fabric passes muster in person. The bikinis are kind of a waste of time for me. Personally I would have preferred to have seen breezy printed scarves or beach towels or totes—just something I could get more use out of as I will not be "resorting" when this collection hits. And once again, I want the shoes! Sadly, the shoes that Target uses for these press photos never seem to materialize in stores. Remember those ankle boots in the Jonathan Saunders for Target campaign? Where were they when we needed them?

From the Target pressroom: "Ranging in price from $16.99 - $44.99, the line includes a variety of seasonal staples including flutter sleeve tees, ruffled tanks and belted shirtdresses. Stand-out pieces include a floral print canvas coat, a shibori print ¾-sleeve dress, floral print shorts and a striped pleated dress, with prints that give a nod to Panichgul's Eastern heritage."

sadly, the one thing I'd even bother getting is that plain navy boyfriend cardigan. I'm not into that one print that looks like paint splatters :/

I'm actually liking it a lot. However, since I'm currently bundling myself up with scarves and gloves I can't see buying anything. I wouldn't get to wear it for a few months. But they could sell it in Australia, where it's summer now.

where's the love for short girls? all those dresses seem to hit at or even below the knee, and I can't wear dresses that length!

I hear ya'...I'm only 5'1'' and most of those styles would make me look like I was playing dress up with my mom's clothes.

A few hits a few misses, not overly impressed, they have definitely presented better lines.

LOVE the pics and anything by Thakoon in general, but I wonder how the Target collection will be in real life. With most of these Go Intl. clothes, the pictures always seem much nicer than the real thing.

I hope Thakoon's collection will be really good, though. That blue-and-white batik print dress and even the plain black one with the ruffle are adorable!
