Yesterday you guys sent me on a shopping mission to Target (those are screenshots from my Instagram Story above), and at first I wasn't feelin' it but when I looked closer, I found a lot to love for spring! I tried to reign in my enthusiasm and focused on some key pieces you can add to your existing wardrobe to make everything look fresh again.

First make sure you have all the basics: Soft tees (I recommend getting one striped, one white, one blush pink and one camo print), a great denim jacket, some white denim (not the easiest thing to find but Target has great options in store), and a pretty dress that can take you from day to night. Then add something trendy like an off-the-shoulder top, a pair of tassel earrings (this pair looked great IRL), some studded gladiator sandals, or a cold-shoulder dress to keep things interesting.

Also, right now when you spend $75, save $15 online only at target.com! I've noticed Target has a lot more options online than in store, so definitely take a look if you haven't already. Here's someone we don't feature nearly enough: Louise Roe! I came across this look of hers from 2014 and thought it's just as relevant today.

Starting with an all-white canvas of a white button down shirt and white distressed jeans, the style trendsetter added an olive military style trench vest, pointy toe flats and structured top handle bag to create her look.

I think this outfit is so right for spring, and couldn't believe that the Gap vest I found to recreate it is under $40 and still in stock in all sizes! You could layer this piece so many ways.
