Celebrity Style Bargain: Eva Longoria's Splendid Midi Tank Dress

Eva Longoria wears Splendid's midi tank dress in pink.
Eva Longoria was spotted wearing a pink Splendid ribbed tank dress while out shopping with her husband in Malibu. This is one of those "celebs are just like us!" moments, as the star keeps it casual in her comfy tank dress and flip-flops. Eva's exact dress is perfect for running errands, plus you could dress it up with some heeled sandals and jewelry for a low-key dinner date or brunch. Best part, it's on sale for $109 (down from $138). Click here to shop.

Back-to- School with Kohl's: Plaid Shirtdress and Ankle Boots

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kohl’s. All opinions are 100% mine.

Get back to school outfit ideas from Kohl's.

If there's one good thing about the end of summer, it's the chance to shop for new clothes like back-to-school fashions. Growing up, that always meant a trip to Kohl's, and while my back-to-school days are behind me, I was excited to team up to share some outfit ideas for those all-important first days back in class!

For fall, I always go back to plaid and stock up on comfy shirts, but a plaid shirtdress is just as versatile and easy to wear. Here I paired a So Plaid Shirtdress with So ankle boots for an effortless look you can wear now when the weather is still warm and well into the winter months with tights or leggings. I'm wearing a size medium in the dress, and the ankle boots are true to size. Both are soooo comfortable. The dress is super soft and lightweight which makes it great for layering (but it's not sheer, so you can wear it alone, too).

Throwback Thursday: Miranda Kerr's Stripe Sweater and Ankle Boots Look for Less

Get Miranda Kerr's moto jacket, striped sweater, olive pants and ankle boots look for less.
This streetstyle look seen on model Miranda Kerr back in 2011 is just as chic today as it was back then. When you combine classic stripes, a leather moto jacket, and ankle boots, you really can't go wrong. This look doesn't stop at simple neutrals, though, because the olive skinny pants and rich burgundy bag really take things up a notch. I think I've personally worn some permutation of this outfit about a million times because it's so easy to throw on, yet always looks pulled together and like you've put some effort into your look (even when you haven't). Print this "look for less" out and hang it in your closet, ladies, because you'll reach for these pieces time and time again, even when you think you've got nothing to wear!

LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's Fall 2016 Look Book

LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's
At first glance, Lauren Conrad's latest Fall collection for Kohl's looks a lot like past seasons, with feminine florals, pretty tops and essentials like skinny jeans and ankle boots (which we will gladly take one of each, thank you). But look closer and you'll see a wearable line that's totally in step with fall's dark romance trend as seen on the runways. Think lace, cold-shoulders, bow-ties, opaque tights and edgy boots paired with flirty dresses and skirts. Moody hues like mauve, moss green and merlot enliven the color palette.

Spot the Real: Raw Hem Straight Leg Jeans

Can you guess which raw edge jeans cost more?
If you're looking to add another item to your denim portfolio for fall, consider the raw hem trend. I'm seeing jeans with an unfinished raw edge at all pricepoints, from Topshop's totally on-trend straight leg raw hem jeans ($80 at nordstrom.com) to a very similar look for less elsewhere that's just $25 and change. While many of the latest denim trends aren't work appropriate, this flattering style with just a hint of fray is subtle enough to wear on a casual Friday yet still on-point stylewise.
