Guest Blogger: BunnieXOXO from BSugarCoated's 'Turquoise Stone' Manicure

Turquoise Stone Manicure Tutorial

If I were to associate a single gemstone with summer, it would be turquoise (technically a mineral but work with me here), conjuring up images of the sunny Southwest or the crystal blue waters of tropical getaways. So for this week's manicure, the talented BunnieXOXO from bsugarcoated shows us how to create a stunning turquoise stone look using some humble bubble wrap and two amazing shades from the Sally Hansen Complete Manicure Polish collection: A deep blue turquoise called "Please Sea Me" and "Girly Party," a silver metallic, both polishes courtesy of Sally Hansen PR. Keep reading for the step-by-step how-to, then head on over to bsugarcoated for details and more daily nail art inspiration.

Joe Fresh for JCP Fall 2013 Lookbook

Joe Fresh for JCP Fall 2013

JCPenney has a lot to prove this fall, so it is with critical eyes that we get to check out the Joe Fresh Fall 2013 lookbook. The Canadian fashion brand, as you may recall, first launched its affordable line at JCP stores in Spring 2013 with mixed reactions from BB readers. How do you feel about it now? I'd happily wear any of these looks myself: From a cheeky pup sweater to updated basics in bright yet wearable hues, I think Joe Fresh has pieces that everyone can incorporate into their wardrobe.

Off the Rack: Target Fall Preview

What's new at Target for fall

If you've been to Target recently, you probably noticed a few racks in the women's department labeled "Fall Preview" which I'm guessing is Target's way of letting us budget shoppers indulge in a little pre-fall fashion finery. The looks are overwhelmingly dark and a tad sporty with boxy silhouettes and details like quilted shoulder patches, zipper detailing, and lots of faux leather. It's a sharp contrast to the summery dresses and short shorts that still occupy much of the rest of the fashion department. Have you seen the fall preview at your store? Did you buy/love anything or are you unwilling to let go of summer just yet?

H&M Finally Launches Online Shopping for the USA

HM launches online shipping!

Seeing as how all my spare web-surfing moments (which are few) seem to be spent at kellymom.com these days, I nearly missed the earth-shattering news that H&M has finally launched online shopping for the United States! Life. Is. Beautiful. Head to hm.com now to check out the goods for women, men, kids and the home. You can even shop a small selection of H&M's maternity clothes, which were a godsend when I was pregnant (see my review here). Now I'm in the market for nursing-friendly fashions (any suggestions??)
