LC Lauren Conrad's Latest Spring Looks, Plus Reed Krakoff for Kohl's

LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's spring 2016 lookbook
Feminine florals, pretty pastels and breezy fabrics are back for spring in the LC Lauren Conrad collection at Kohl's latest lookbook. There are absolutely no surprises here - Lauren knows her brand DNA and is sticking with it. She's floating away in a hot air balloon, picking lemons, making lemonade and enjoying a picnic - among other things - all while rocking her signature cat-eye and enviable hairstyles. If you're looking for something new, mark your calendars for April 14th when REED for Kohl's - a new designer collection of handbags and apparel by Reed Krakoff - will land at kohls.com (and April 21 in stores). Until then, read on to see all of Lauren's predictable albeit utterly adorable looks...

The Look for Less: Schutz 'Enida' Sandal

The Look for Less: Schutz 'Enida' Sandal
There's something magical about the Schutz 'Enida' sandal. It has this incredible leg-lengthening effect, and the block heel makes me think it's probably comfortable, too. I'd start with the nude color to get the most wear, but the other colors are equally tempting. While $170 isn't that much to spend on a pair of heels, I found a look for less that's about half the price.

You're Going to Want to Steal Lauren Conrad's 'Celebrate' Book Launch Outfit

Lauren Conrad's new book! her outfit's from Kohl's under $50
Lauren Conrad wore a dress and heels from her Kohl's collection to fête the launch of her new book, Celebrate (out today!), a lovely fact I picked up while watching Style Code Live. It's my new nightly obsession/guilty pleasure if the kids are both in bed, and it's only 30 minutes long so I can squeeze it in while doing other things. But back to Lauren: She was on the show to talk about her latest book that's about all-things-party and revealed that she wore this dress and these heels, as seen on her Instagram feed. I think she looks amazing - the dress is so girly and chic, not to mention figure flattering with its fit and flare silhouette. Lauren's exact dress is available in sizes 0-18 for just $48 while the heels are available in four colors for just $40! See? Watching TV isn't just fun and games, it's research.

Off the Rack: Forever 21 Spring Highlights

Great fashion finds at Forever 21 this spring
Forever 21 is looking back to two decades for fashion inspo for spring 2016: The 70s and the 90s. From the former, I spotted all the usual bohemian suspects, like peasant tops, faux suede jackets, mini skirts and wide leg jumpsuits. From the latter, it was all sweatshirts, distressed denim and oversized silhouttes on things like plaid shirts and boxy crop tops. But both trends had a modern twist - the 90s throwbacks were updated to please Kendall Jenner fans and those with #squadgoal aspirations. And the retro fashions had a modern romance - or edge - that made them feel wearable today. If you're over 21 (hypothetically speaking), I'd focus on the denim (no really it's great), outerwear (be discerning, but this denim jacket and this faux suede jacket look more expensive than they really are), and accessories (like these strappy gray sandals), plus basics (I love their tees and longline camis). Keep reading to check out the 45+ photos I snapped (with two babes in tow, no less, aren't you impressed?! LOL) to see how things look in-store...like what you see?
