Summer beauty should be effortless and affordable. Yesterday I stopped by the H&M store at my local Westfield Center to pick up a cute first birthday outfit for my son, who turns one next week (eeek!), and to check out the summer sale for myself. If you're looking for beachy summer picks, H&M has you covered with lots of maxi dress and maxi skirt options, peasant blouses and kimono style coverups. They've also got tons of mid-riff baring crop tops and cut-offs, silky shorts and Equipment style blouses (as noted by an alert reader in the comments of this post). Other highlights included pajama-style print pants, a "Celfie" tank top and chunky heel sandals. The sale stuff I saw was less summery, things like denim, fuzzy sweaters and other separates in darker colors. But I did manage to pick up a cotton gingham shirt for just $10. Instant favorite.
