On Wednesday I braved the blizzard to check out the Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2010 collection presentation in NYC, part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, and it was totally worth it. Inspired by the effortless style of Parisian women, Minkoff paired together the perfect pieces for today's modern girl who wants to look chic and uncomplicated. There was the perfect leather jacket, the perfect faux-fur vest, the perfect oversized blazer and the perfect little black dress—key pieces that every woman should have in her wardrobe to create a multitude of stylish outfits for any occasion. Minkoff's covetable handbags proved to be the perfect accessories, adding color, texture and a little edge to each look.

Earlier I posted video of beauty expert Charlotte Tilbury for MAC Cosmetics chatting about the makeup looks she helped create for the L.A.M.B. Fall/Winter 2010 show, and now we have details on the products used to achieve this look. "The feeling was 1930's prostitute—trampy, smoky eye, deep 'rougeoir' lips and beautiful pale skin," Tilbury says.

For the sultry eyes, Tilbury used Eye Kohl in Smolder and Fluidline in Blacktrack, blended and smudged around and into the eyelid for a feline-shaped eye. She then dabbed Lip treatment on the eyelid over eye kohl for a wet-look effect.

To give skin a pale, doll-like quality, Tilbury applied face and body foundation. Finally for the those sexy red lips, she used LipMix in Crimson (Pro only) and burgundey, blended together and applied to the lip. Lip pencil in burgundy was applied around the lip to give an over-drawn shape to the mouth.
