Just when you thought Forever 21 couldn’t get any better, the budget-friendly black hole has expanded into the fitness side of fashion. While the items are no Lucy or Lululemon or Nike, they offer replicas in style and design from these big fitness brands that are much more affordable and will pass - as long as you don’t mind sacrificing a bit of quality. But seasoned Forever shoppers already know that high-quality can’t always be expected there.

We're back at it again with the April line from Fabletics! The bandwagon for getting into shape for summer is full-speed ahead, and it isn’t too late to join. They’ve got the perfect selection of bright plums and blues, new patterns, and unique tops to motivate you right into that bikini (or bandage dress). Here's my review of two new pieces sent to me by the brand this month (as always, you'll only get my honest opinions.)

Nothing shows off a woman’s curves or confidence at a special occasion, dinner date, or night out with the girls like a bandage dress. Google any actress, model, or singer and I guarantee you will come across a red carpet photo of her wearing a form-fitting number, short in length and high in sex appeal. And we don’t have to use Google to know that the cost of these dresses is heartbreaking. So I was excited when a representative from The Kewl Shop contacted me and introduced me to their online boutique of bandage dresses, shockingly comparable to designer looks. They reminded me of the covetable Herve Leger bandage dresses, which I have never worn myself, but the Kewl Shop offers equally beautiful dresses at a much more reasonable price to suit your special occasions or just a night out with the girls!

If you take a look in my gym bag, you’ll find a mess of tangled headphones, protein bars, water bottles, extra pairs of socks, a foam roller, and a great watch! Anyone involved in fitness or avid readers of fit blogs and magazines knows that intervals are one of the most efficient ways to work out—and those who are serious about their training know that a great fitness-oriented watch can make all the difference!

While we love shopping at Kohl's for the cute clothes, today we're turning our focus on the Kohl’s activewear selection! Armed with a giftcard courtesy of Kohl's, I headed to my store and found quality brand names, including Nike and Puma, that are all about the flashy neon and prints AND performance-worthy. So why not boost your own confidence and workouts with some new gear? Sadly the Kohl’s in my town was scarce on sizes and selection...I was mulling over my decisions for so long I swear the employees began to wonder if I was plotting a shoplifting scandal. Eventually I narrowed it down to three key pieces, altogether under $100 (with sales prices and my Kohl’s card) that are cute and adequate for my future workouts!
