About The Budget Babe
"Fab Without A Fortune"
The Budget Babe is a fashion blog for style-conscious women everywhere who are looking to stretch their wardrobe dollars.
Each day, we show you what to buy and how to wear it, keeping you fashionably on-trend for less.
The Budget Babe reader loves fashion in all its forms and is well-versed in the latest visions from the runway. She's all about mixing high and low, investing in pieces she'll love for years while saving on passing trends (flatforms, anyone?).
When this blog was born 11 years ago, budget fashion was still taboo in the industry. Now, fashion bloggers sit front row at Marc Jacobs and Missoni is collaborating with Target. Le cheap, c'est chic has never been truer.
At the same time, luxury markets are booming. This fact suggests there's a niche for everyone in the fashion ecosystem (except for fakes, those are never in fashion.)
Budget fashion keeps things exciting, builds brand awareness and pushes the limits of fashion design. We're driven by new fashion trends and new ways to discuss them - and our reader is in integral part of that exciting dialogue.
Oh. And did we mention fashion is just plain fun? Let us be the guilty pleasure you don't really have to feel guilty about. —BB
