At the LOFT blogger event in NYC, I asked Trend Director Alia-Ahmed Yahia to walk me through her 10 essential summer wardrobe items and share tips on how to wear them. Watch and learn, ladies! Soooo funny...the panama hat is back! I've had one JUST like that for just over 20 years. And another, a black straw mesh stripe porkpie that's airy and light - both by New York Hat Co. Yay 1989!

That tunic though? Gorgeous and so classic!

I love, love, LOVE the white skinny jeans! I'm already realizing that my white jeans (one skinny pair and one boot cut) are going to be my most-worn wardrobe item this summer. Great list!
