Marni for H&M Lookbook: Complete Collection Plus Pricing

Here's the Marni for H&M lookbook in all its glory, including menswear - some of the unisex looks are worth borrowing from the boys. This collection with Italian label Marni includes apparel and accessories like shoes, jewelry and handbags. Most pieces are priced around the $80 mark, while small accessories average just $19.95 (such as sequin collars) and nothing's over $149. I can see myself wearing the printed pants, leather panel sweatershirt, and just about all of the accessories (although I'd probably buy the flower necklace and end up just looking at it hanging from my dresser mirror while not actually wearing it). According to people who attended the launch party in Los Angeles which took place Friday night, the quality is great and everything looks like the real deal. Marni for H&M will be available in select stores on March 8, 2012.

Jason Wu for Target: What Did You Get?

I took a break from preparing for our Super Bowl party yesterday morning around 11 a.m. to check out the Jason Wu for Target launch and was surprised to discover near-empty racks at the two stores I visited. I underestimated the demand for this launch, but I guess we've entered a post-Missoni era in which this has become the norm. As is The Budget Babe tradition, I tried on what few items remained on the racks and snapped some pics, though none of the items were my size (sorry for the dismal photos and my distracting leopard print pants, I had expected to try on some Jason Wu skirts but none were available). Then, as I was leaving the women's department, I noticed someone had returned one size small top - the navy floral tank - so I scooped it up. Yay!? I then headed to a second Target store in my area but that one had been cleaned out too. A store associate told me shoppers lined up before the doors opened. Target's Twitter folks told me Jason Wu will be restocked on-line later in the week but not in stores. Follow @TargetStyle for up to the minute updates on that in case you missed out and are hoping to purchase something.

What was your experience? Did you shop in store or on-line? What did you get? From your tweets, Facebook and Instagram messages I know many of you made out pretty well, and I applaud you! It is what it is, so I'm not stressin'.

Doo.Ri for Impulse at Macy's Collection

Designer Doo-Ri Chung has designed a collection for Macy's Impulse, and while it won't be available for purchase until February 15th, you can preview the line now at macys.com and vote for your favorite looks. Currently, a geometric printed draped wrap dress, floor-length pleated maxi dress and painterly brushstroke coat are among the items in the lead, and I'm inclined to agree with shoppers that these are some of the best pieces in the capsule. Priced on average from $39-$159, the collection will feature soft fabrics, art inspired prints and feminine silhouettes, all grounded in blues and greys with red, black and orange infused throughout. I'm not jumping out of my seat to shop this collection but I can appreciate its elegance. How about you?

Banana Republic Trina Turk Collection

Banana Republic and Trina Turk are teaming up to create a limited-edition capsule featuring chic summer essentials inspired by the southern California lifestyle. Available in June 2012, the nearly 60-piece collection of women's apparel and accessories will feature an array of summer must-haves, from flirty dresses to printed swimsuits and plush beach towels. Inspired by the Palm Springs "cocktails by the pool" lifestyle, the collection promises lots of color and Trina Turk's signature prints. Love me some Trina Turk, can't wait to stalk this collab and scoop up some pieces when it goes on sale (just being honest!).
