Off the Rack: Fall Trends at Bloomingdale's

Whenever I shop with my mom and sister we inevitably end up at Bloomingdale's, an upscale department store that's not cheap by any means and yet, as my dear family has proven time and time again, deals can be found anywhere if you've got skills. During this trip my sister led me to the clearance racks where I found a Michael Stars striped tee marked down from $70ish to $20; my mom then presented me with a coupon for an additional 20% off. Go Mom. With my prize in hand, I then proceeded to scope out all the fall trends for inspiration: Key pieces include cargo pants, utility jackets, leopard print, chunky knits, faux fur, combat boots, leggings, booties, and stripes. Suddenly, the arrival of fall doesn't seem like such a bad thing…

Lots more pics after the jump.

Ok the combat boots in the first photo are most likely these:

Frye "Melissa" Tall Lace Boots ($398)

or possibly these:

Joie "Refugee" Lace-Up Military Boots ($535):

I'll keep an eye out for budget-friendly versions and post what I find.

Not a big Bloomies shopper myself, although I might reconsider after these great photos.

I really enjoy the slouchy layering that is looking pretty rather than grunge. Good stuff, thanks for the inspiration pics!

I just love the way the clothing displays are put together at Bloomingdale's. It's so much more fun to browse at Bloomie's than at Macy's, which always seems chaotic to me.

wow, everything looks so posh! that's a cute outfit on you too! I love the first mannequin. Reminds of being in middle school and my parents buying my first pair of combat boots; I'd shine them every night *laugh*.
