Off the Rack: Makeup & Beauty Products at Payless

Payless shoe stores recently launched an affordable line of makeup and beauty products under the names zoe&zac naturals and Unforgettable Moments, and yesterday I checked them out in person for the first time. I have to say, my expectations were pretty low so I was pleasantly surprised by the chic display, lovely packaging, tasteful colors and light fragrances. A friendly salesperson informed me that the Payless BOGO sale (buy one, get one half off) applies to makeup, too, so I scooped up a bottle of Unforgettable Moments nail polish ($2.99) in Sugar Plum, a deep almost-black purple shade, and a zoe&zac lip shimmer ($3.99) in Sunset, a subtle bronze-pink lipstick/gloss, for a grand total of $5.81. So far, I'm really liking both products (shocking, right?) but I'll write more detailed reviews in a couple days. With most items priced under $20, I can't wait to try more products from both lines.

Because of you I stopped at my local Payless and picked up 2 eyeshadow sets and 2 nailpolishes in Platinum and Precious Metal from Unforgettable Moments. Can't wait to see how it works out.

Wow! They have a huge selection! I'm shocked. I bet if I were to walk into my local payless they'd have 1/4 of what you have shown. I'm def gonna go check it out.. I love the sound of that Sugar Plum nail polish! I'm really wanting to try to wear polish but can never bring myself to do it. Strange I know... Thanks for the info!!

I saw this at my local Payless, although the selection was much more limited than at yours. I was really impressed with how cute the packaging was. Looking forward to your review; if you have good things to post about what you bought I think these products would make excellent stocking stuffers.

OMG I can't believe it the time I dont go in the store on a regular bases I read about this if it is makeup skin care anything to do with beauty I am all in got to check it out, I will be going first thing in the morning to get one of each LOL or close to it, what applies to me to use not to just buy something I wouldn't use..I'll update on it too.HUGZ thanks for sharing..
