Beauty Review: China Glaze Midnight Kiss Nail Polish

Recently I received a complimentary bottle of China Glaze Midnight Kiss nail polish, a creamy gold which is part of the China Glaze Limited Edition Holiday 2010 Collection. Words can not express how much I love this color. It's so brilliant and mesmerizing, you'll want to wear it every day! It goes without saying that this polish is perfect for the holiday season but I say wear it whenever if you want to boost your mood and amp up your look.

This polish goes on great in two coats and looks fabulous even as it starts to wear off on the tips (which for me started to happen on day 2, can't be helped!). It's a very forgiving color, you don't have to be super precise with applying it and because of the reflective nature, it looks good for days. Great for all skin tones. I kept it on for 5 days before I felt the need to remove it. Removal is easy, too, not as difficult as some glitter polishes, a definite plus.

Overall I'd have to give this polish 5 out of 5 stars for the sheer brilliance of the amazing color. Stink factor is average -- smells toxic like most polishes, I have yet to find one that doesn't, unfortunately. But it is free of DBP, toluene and added formaldehyde.

If you're looking for the perfect gold polish that's not too warm and totally classy, give Midnight Kiss a go. You won't be disappointed.

China Glaze Midnight Kiss retails for $6.50 at Sally Beauty Supply Stores nationwide, SallyBeauty.com, Head2ToesBeauty.com.

This looks exactly like OPI's Glizterland from their Swiss line. Loveeee the color, & I always prefer OPI's quality.

Amazing color. I have a gold from OPI and it doesn't even compare to this one (mine is way too sheer). Thanks for the tip on this one. It looks great!

I've been wearing Wet 'n Wild Shield since the fall, it can't decide if it's gold or silver. I love!
