The Look for Less: Christian Louboutin 'Lady Daf' Pumps

Christian Louboutin's "Lady Daf" platform pumps are $995. I featured them in a post about the bondage pump trend, a topic which sparked quite a bit of controversy (here).

Love them or hate them, the Lady Daf has a lot of celebrity fans, including Kourtney Kardashian, Beyonce and Kim Kardashian.

If you want this look for less, check out Topshop's Louboutin-inspired "Sugar Mary Jane" platforms for $135. Click the image below for details.

What do you think, is this look starting to grow on you?

It looks so goofy! :-D
I would never wear platform pumps like this...

These are way too extreme looking; when I see them from the front, all I can think is that the wearer has hooves. Also, I can't help but feel like the only walking the celebrities who love these insane heels do is from the cab to the door of wherever they're going. Those of us who don't get carted around everywhere we go need shoes that are a little more practical. I do love the nude color though.

Nope; the look isn't growing on me. Nor could I ever walk in those. I'd be so afraid I'd fall or turn an ankle or something!

I love these. I love my pick better, 'cos they're more budget-friendly, but these will do for when I just happen to have $1K lying around and want to make my man crazy.

I actually LOVE them and would totally wear them. I blogged about them in February in the snake print! I am sure they HURT to wear but I love how extreme they are :-)

Nyet, nein, negative!!! I found them to be ugly then, and still do. They look like they could be hazardous too like Target-Addict said, and if I ever saw someone fall while wearing heels as high as these, I'd most likely laugh at them. Why wear ridiculously high heels if you can't even walk in them? Yeah, I be hatin' ;-)

It's not growing on me. It looks silly like walking on stylish stilts. I would be cool with it for a haute couture fashion event but for everyday wear or even getting out of a cab to stand around in a club it seems a bit much.

You can find pretty much replicas of these shoes for even less than £135!!!

Go to:

http://www.chockersshoes.co.uk/category/shoes/product/andrianna71/

They even have a red sole, just like Louboutins!!! :-)

They also do numerous other colours/patterns in the same style & they are so cheap...starting at £29.99!!!

Hope this helps x
