Kohl's is challenging fashion bloggers to put together their best fall outfits under $100 inspired by a new trend each week for one month. Team BB's Allyssa Griffiths answers the call. —BB
This week’s challenge focused on the new fall classics - versatile and trendy pieces we can all use in our closets this season. I headed to Kohl’s with a couple different ideas in mind. Keep reading to see what I put together, and a couple other pieces I fell in love with while shopping!
The perfect black pant: LC Lauren Conrad Skinny French Terry Pants, $30.80
Why I love it: I tried on many black pants while shopping, but this pair had me sold as soon as I put them on. These jeans are stretchy and so comfortable, and run true to size. I spent all day on campus (4 classes, lots of walking) and they maintained their shape perfectly. Nothing is worse than jeans that lose their shape throughout the day! I wore these jeans with some boots, but these would also be perfect for a night out with some heels.
Pullover sweater: LC Lauren Conrad Cable-Knit Sweater, $36.99
Why I love it: The detailing on this sweater is nothing short of amazing. The beautiful lace at the top eliminates the need for additional accessories! This sweater comes in four colors. I had a hard time choosing between the soft, feminine “cement” and the eye-capturing “navy nile.” I ultimately chose the lighter of the two to contrast the black pant.
