Altuzarra for Target Look Book

Altuzarra for Target look book

I'm getting goosebumps just looking at the Altuzarra for Target lookbook photos, which Target made available this morning. It's worth a second (or third, or fourth) look even if you've already browsed these elsewhere on the web - it's got the fashion world buzzing and with good reason.

From the press notes: "Altuzarra for Target reflects the brand’s sensual and sophisticated spirit, merging French seduction with American ease and intricate detailing. This collection presents a sexy, tailored wardrobe that modern, feminine and confident women can wear to express themselves."
Altuzarra for Target features nearly 50 items, consisting of women’s apparel, accessories and shoes. The looks are glamorous and grown-up, from elegant wrap dresses to sharply tailored separates, rendered in a moody palette of rich crimson, opal black and emerald that's perfect for fall. It's decidedly mature, with many wear-to-work options, luxe python prints and even a satin cami set (mask included - ooh la la). Ranging in price from $17.99 to $89.99 for apparel, and $29.99 to $79.99 for accessories, Altuzarra for Target will be available Sept. 14, at most Target stores and Target.com. A curated assortment will be available globally via online luxury retailer NET-A-PORTER.COM (hooray!).

Pieces that I can see selling out quickly include the Maxi Dress in Black Orchid Print ($69.99), the Trench Coat in Military Green/Black ($89.99), the Faux Fur Crop Jacket ($69.99), the Ankle Boot in Black ($59.99) and the Over-the-Knee Boot in Black ($79.99).

Pieces I need (and will need to find multiple excuses to wear) include the little black dress with white cuffs and collar, the trench, and the dark red dress (just $39.99!). Oh, and that thick belt ($29.99) which is so versatile (remember when those were EVERYWHERE?! Glad this trend is coming back.)

Totally in love. I see several pieces that I will have to pounce on

This is definitely the chicest collection so far, everything looks so expensive. And being 5"10, I'm loving the longer hem lengths; the dresses in the Target collaborations always fit me like tunics. Love that olive trench. Are handbags being made also?

I agree with you BB, the LookBook really does look good. But this is an ambitious collection for Target to manufacture. I'll be curious to see it on the racks and see what the quality, really is.

Does anyone know if picture #10 is a coat, or a coat DRESS? Thank you!

Here are some details I found in the lookbook:

Trench Coat in Black Jacquard, $89.99

"The ultimate throw-on-and-go piece, this trench coat in textured jacquard is effortlessly elegant, with a flattering peplum back design detail. Add the thick textured belt to create a look with structured appeal."

I know this is an older post, but thank you for writing about this line. I just picked up the black orchid sweatshirt last night, and I totally love it. So beautiful and comfortable! But I first found it because of your post.

Hooray! I still need to write about the products I ordered, just haven't had time. This was a good collab.
