(More) Spring Shoes at Target: The Good, The Bad and the Just Plain Ugly

I've already shared quite a few in-store photos of the spring shoes at Target (here and here), and the big-box retailer continues to bring out more styles for us to choose from. Some styles are repeats from last year like these Sam & Libby "Ashland" sandals, which got a facelift this season and is now available in an on-trend metallic light-blue (we love the light blue trend!) A newcomer to the Birkenstock lookalike tribe is the Mossimo "Doris", and the gold color is my least favorite of the intentionally ugly comfort sandal genre. But to each his own. I've owned uglier!

Personally I prefer the gladiator trend - it's always a stylish choice, season after season - like the Mossimo "Verona" in brown or black (get both during the BOGO sale which ends tomorrow!). Or the adorable Mossimo "Belinda" ankle-strap embellished sandal which will go with everything in your summer wardrobe, from day to casual nights.

I love the Mossimo strap sandals! They look like the ones at Nordstrom that I've been waiting for a restock in size 4.5. Too bad target doesn't carry smaller sizes!

You'd hate to see what I got in the mail last week then LOL; gold leather metallic Birkenstocks! I know they're not some people's cup of tea, but I love my gold ones so much, and I got them 50% off. Really like Target's selections though. I got the Ashland last year in the black, but that new ice blue is so pretty!
