With every new season comes a new set of beauty issues. Winter brings dry skin and hair, spring brings itchy eyes and nose, and so on and so forth. For me, summer brings some of the most intense cosmetic needs. Between the sun and the sweat, it's enough to drive a girl crazy. That's why I count on a few amazing products to keep my complexion and my tresses looking their finest. I can honestly say that I use each and every one of these five hand-picked products in my regimen frequently. Check them out and see if they’re right for you too!

Lauren's Picks: Summer Beauty Essentials

Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Crème $9
Whenever I’m feeling like I need a little extra boost of pampering, I always reach for this foot crème. I don’t use it frequently, but when I do, it really makes me feel great. Not only does the crème have an amazingly refreshing coconut scent, but it also has a gentle exfoliant. For all those summer days spent barefoot and in uncomfortable sandals, this solves those gross feet problems. I honestly have two tubes of this in my house right now. My recommendation is to rub this crème in right before bed and then throw on some comfy socks. When you wake up in the morning, your feet will feet so heavenly.

Neutrogena Clear Face Sunblock $11.49
I need sunscreen. I need to wear sunscreen every day. I’m sure I’m not the only one. I have very pale, very sensitive skin and finding the right sunscreen has always been a problem for me, especially for my face. I’m always on the hunt for a sunscreen that will work overtime but not cause me to breakout. Here is Neutrogena’s answer to my prayers. My dermatologist always recommended Neutrogena products so, when I was looking for a sunblock for my vacation last weekend, I found this one. I heavily lathered it on my face and neck throughout the weekend and never broke out once. Definitely pick this one up.

Smith’s Rosebud Salve $6
I bought this salve about a year ago after noticing it’s cult following among the beauty elite. It’s inexpensive but is absolutely so amazing. First off, the scent is light and fresh; it’s so subtly rosebud. Second, it’s not greasy or sticky like some lip glosses. I think it’s perfect for summer because it adds moisture to your lips, which tend to be dry during the summer months. It also is great because it adds the perfect light tint of pink to your lips. You’ll look healthy and happy even when you’re sweating your face off!

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater $7
I bought this facial spray, in the small 4 oz. bottle, about the same time I bought the rosebud salve. Maybe I was feeling very rosey at the time. I’m personally obsessed with this. I, without a doubt, use this spray every single day. It’s amazing for the summer months because it refreshes your skin and your hair. I normally spray it right before I do my makeup – just to make sure my skin is moisturized – and then I always use it as a setting spray after my makeup is finished. It adds the perfect dewy look, without feeling gross or sweaty. Buy it. Buy it now.

Not Your Mother's Texturizing Sea Salt Spray $6.19
For those of you who don’t live by the beach, this sea salt spray is the perfect alternative. I’ve never been a huge beach person, but I can fake it with this spray. It makes my hair perfectly wavy and texturized in a very cool girl kind of way. I would also recommend using this spray if you’re doing any kind of hairstyle like curls or an updo. It gives my hair the messy ‘90s texture that is so “in” right now.

I'll definitely be picking up the Neutrogena sunscreen. I'm in the exact same boat!
