First Look: Loomstate for Target

Target is teaming up with designer Rogan Gregory AGAIN, but this time it's with Loomstate, Gregory's environmentally responsible clothing line that he co-creates with Scott Mackinlay Hahn. The collection features cotton silk shifts, plaid poplin shorts, a pelican-print bikini, and men's clothing, too, in certified-organic cotton and soft-washed finishes. I wasn't too excited about Rogan for Target, but this Loomstate stuff is beginning to grow on me. I like the roll-up sleeve sweaters and denim skirt. If nothing else, you know I'll stalk it on the clearance racks. Hits Target.com April 19th. [via Nylon]

Ooh, I like that zip-front jacket you highlighted! And the aqua sweater, it's bright and perfect for spring. The rest is OK.

Hm... and maybe that pieced tank. I like the idea of duo colors. AH! So many choices, so little money haha :o)

That t-shirt dress is a dress version of a t-shirt from Rogan's GO line. Same thing on the aqua sweater but change the color and get rid of the pocket. Looks like Rogan believes in recycling as well as sustainability.

I love this! That dip-dye skirt and tie-front blouse are calling me!!

Hopefully this line will be available at all Target stores, lol! It looks like a collection that's simple but very versatile.
