Miss Trish of Capri for Target Now in Stores

Miss Trish of Capri for Target

After stuffing ourselves with sushi last night, the boyfriend and I ducked into Target to pick up some goodies for our garden, and as I passed by the shoe section I noticed one lonely rack of Miss Trish of Capri for Target sandals in two styles, the turtle thong and the starfish thong. (The collection officially launches today but as with past designer-collabs, some stores had early arrivals.)

Both pairs looked very pretty and classy and perfect for seaside resorts or runs to the grocery store, but I'm afraid I won't be partaking. My feet just don't work in flat, t-strap thongs—no way, no how. However, there are some wedges online that look very promising! If you want to add a touch of glamour to your summer wardrobe, definitely pick up a pair for $29.99. They're made with faux-leather uppers and superflex bonded leather outsoles, but if you wear them around the city or to the pool, who cares?

Browse online to see all the styles, including sandals featuring the flower, ladybug, fish or lion decorative ornament. The collection will be available at select Target stores nationwide and on Target.com today, April 5th, through June 14th.

If you've already seen the Miss Trish collection or plan on checking them out today, let me know what you think!

Do you think that there are going to be more styles coming, or this is it (I mean whatever they have online) ?

Between Miss Trish of Capri and Felix Rey, Target is managing to tap into my Nautical side this season!

1. YAY for garden goodies! We were out there today mowing, trimming, and weeding--beautiful weather. :-)

2. Saw these, tried them on, but I didn't like them on my foot. They are as cute as the day is long, but my feet are weird. sigh

3. SUSHI! Love it. Can't get enough of it. Yumbo. ;-)

Mmm, sushi sounds so good right now, haha. I think the idea of the adorned sandals are cute, but I personally like sandals with less...bling? Haha.

Commentary re current shoes from Target. Styles are cute, however I personally do not like shoes that are made of "manmade from China" and are priced like they are leather. I haven't seen these particular shoes at Target but have looked at their selection somewhat recently and found that most are not leather.

The foot is an end organ and needs to breathe, which means no plastic or whatever other stuff they use in China. I only buy leather, not that I didn't by mistake try sandels last yr that were "manmade" - my feet hated them!

Does anyone know where one could get a good bargain on gladiator sandels that are leather?

Thanks!

I bought the white toe-ring sandal with the bumble bee embelishment. They are absolutely adorable, and I love them, however...2 hours into wearing them for the 1st time, the bumble bee fell off. I managed to figure out how to re-attach it back onto the toe-ring, but it fell off again 2 hours later. I know - I know - you get what you pay for, but I would think that the designer would take into consideration secure attachment for the fairly bulky embelishments.

I'm bummed...wanted to exchange them, but my size is now sold out.
