Ask BB: Genuine Leather Bomber Under $200

Real leather bomber jacket on the cheapDo you know where I can find a nice biker/bomber leather jacket without breaking the bank? I don't like the feel of faux leather and my dermatologist recommends I wear breathable materials. —Silvia

Fall may be weeks away, but I've already received two requests for affordable, real-leather bomber jackets, so when I saw this ASOS leather bomber jacket featured in a WhoWhatWear.com newsletter, I knew I had to share. If black isn't your color, get this jacket in tan for $92 or khaki for just $74. I love the curved seams and clean lines. Anyways, it's tough to find a real leather jacket under $200 that looks up-to-date yet timeless, so when you do find that rare gem, snag it fast.

ASOS jackets are pretty good and even a good deal when full-price - I got a sweet olive leather one on clearance for $30! Only problem is though it is real leather, it's almost plasticy looking...I need to rough it up somehow. Any suggestions, lol?

that asos option is fabulous, but i must say, i'm surprisingly pleased with my faux leather jacket from urban outfitters (that's also less than $200).

Nordstrom Rack also has amazing leather bombers for under $200. Last week, I saw several Marc by Andrew Marc versions, along with a buttery soft one from Valette for $163. And this is in July. Imagine what they will have in a few weeks!

I bought a gorgeous leather jacket from ASOS last year. Material was top notch and it looked much more expensive than it actually was in person.

I love the leather jacket look for fall. I recently got a faux one from Urban Outfitters and I can't wait until fall to wear it!! I would wear it now if it weren't 80 degrees!

I picked up a F21 real leather jacket last fall that I absolutely love. H&M also has some real and faux leather options for under $200. Gap also occasionally has some options--got a brown one years ago for about $200 that's only gotten better with age, of course! Really, I just can't wait until fall to wear them all again :-)
