Off the Rack: Fall Flats at Target

Off the Rack: Fall Flats at Target

While all of New York City is abuzz over Fashion Week, I'm at my local Target store snapping photos of the latest offerings in Fall shoes! Not that I'm complaining or anything. Anywho, the selection thus far is pretty decent. My favorite pair of flats has to be the Mossimo "Valda" ruffle flats ($24.99) in a yummy cranberry hue (shown above) made with a low-grade, albeit genuine suede upper. Great way to add color to an outfit. Other standouts include these Merona Collection "Rosaline" leopard print flats ($29.99) with a real-leather upper and these Xhilaration "Saniya" plaid flats ($16.99). My only gripe with these (and most flats, I suppose) is that they look best without socks, so the moment the weather cools off, I won't be able to wear them. Which flats (if any) will YOU be buying?

Most likely the only flats I'll be buying are some oxford flats! That is unless I some how manage to save up enough $$ to get the new Reva Stingray Flats :-P

You may not be able to wear socks with flats, but you can definitely wear tights! Flats are a staple in my wardrobe, so I find ways to keep them around through the fall and winter.

This trick will work only with pants, but if you want to wear flats when it's chilly out, try skin-tone socks in a thin knit. It keeps your feet warm without looking awkward.

I purchased the pewter pair last week, I also purchased them in black (like i needed another pair of black shoes). But I HAVE TO FIND the blue plaid flats. They are too precious!

Adorable! I'm a sucker for flats and, like Sarah said, I always try to find a way to keep them around through the seasons. Just bought a cute pair of Steve Maddens at DSW -- can't beat a sale! :-)

Great picks! I got a gold pair of Xhilaration flats about 2 years ago and they're really comfy and have held up really well even though I wear them ALL the time.

eee i love flats! i do wear them without socks in the winter :x haha probably not the best idea, but i cannot tolerate sneakers so its either flats, flat boots or uggs for me!

I almost got the cranberry ones when I was in New York last week but thought I would wait to get them when I got back home because my suit case was about to explode. I need to stop and get them this weekend! They are very comfortable
