Love high-end beauty brands but can't afford to keep up with high prices in today's economy? Head over to Target (our favorite place, like, ever) to pick up some awesome makeup from Sonia Kashuk. Pardon the long post, but there are so many note worthy products to mention it would be a shame to leave any out.

I am really, really picky when it comes to any kind of lipgloss. I have tried it all, and there is nothing grosser then a bad quality cheap-o lipgloss that some big chain is trying to pass off as designer (you know the kind, kinda stinky, really gluey and looks like you slathered on Vaseline and then dipped your lips in a garishly hued pot of glitter.) I shudder at the thought.

Sonia Kashuk for Target Ultra Shine Sheer Lip Gloss

These products are not even close to that. They are in fact at the other far end of the lipgloss spectrum. The Sonia Kashuk Ultra Shine Sheer Lip Glosses ($8.99) are soft and creamy, melty and gorgeous. They come in beautiful lady-like colors and in lovely packaging. They smell delish, and they are the perfect finish to a face sporting the latest fall colors on eyes. I tried Whisper and Flawless and they are both great colors that will compliment many skin tones and many different looks. (cont. below)

Sonia Kashuk for Target Velvety Shine Lip Crayon

I've said before that I prefer gloss to lipstick, but with the Velvety Shine Lip Crayon ($7.99) I get the best of both worlds. These crayons are super fun, smell super good (vanilla I believe) and go on so easily and so creamily that you will be addicted after one use. I love Hot Pink with a nude eye for a fun weekend look.

Sonia Kashuk for Target Shimmering Loose Mineral Blush

To give yourself a beautiful glowing complexion Sonia Kashuk has give you several fantastic products to choose from. The Shimmering Loose Mineral Blush($8.99) including puff is a great highlighter for the cheekbones and can be worn over a more pronounced blush. Many women just don’t get that a great blush can make you look so much fresher and prettier without having to even put on a lot of other makeup.

Sonia Kashuk for Target Super Sheer Liquid Tint

For a fantastic healthy glow try the Super Sheer Liquid Tint ($9.99). Don't be scared that it's a liquid, this product blends super well and they did an awesome job putting in just the right amount of pigment so you don't end up making yourself look like a clown. I love Rose for the fall.

Sonia Kashuk for Target Creme Blush

The Crème Blush ($9.99) is one of the best cream blushes I have ever tried. This has the most amazing velvety texture and blends into skin effortlessly.

Sonia Kashuk for Target Dramatically Defining Long Wear Gel Eye Liner

Love dramatic eyes? Try the Dramatically Defining Long Wear Gel Eye Liner ($8.99). Such a great product! I tried it in Indigo and just love the way it makes my eyes pop. Use an eyeliner brush to create the beautiful cat eye that is very in this season. Wears all day without running or smudging, I've been using this all week and I must say I'm going to be buying more when this pot runs out (which will probably take forever, you get a generous amount).

I'm now a big fan of this line of Target makeup, and look forward to any new releases from the Sonia Kashuk beauty collection.

Has anyone tried the gel eyeliner? I saw it at the store but couldn't bring myself to part with the money without hearing if it has staying power first.
