Christian Siriano for Payless Collection

  • The Cut has a preview of the upcoming Christian Siriano for Payless collection...which begs the question: Fierce or tranny?

  • Make a statement: The Frisky finds 9 bold bib necklaces under $100 (some as little as $8!).

  • Just in time for spring break, College Candy ranks the best swimsuits to flaunt your assets.

  • Nitrolicious has first look photos of Felix Rey for Target accessories collection and Miss Trish of Capri for Target shoes. As a Connecticut resident, I'm obligated to love both nautical-inspired collections.

  • FabSugar has photos of the Converse for Target Spring '09 collection. Converse often goes unnoticed because of the GO collections but they've really begun to impress me with their urban, edgy, wearable clothing.

  • 55 Style Street reports that Michelle Obama is pretty in pink in a guipure lace kimono dress by Tracy Reese on the latest cover of People.

Beauty Review: "Bring It Home Beauty" DVD

In an effort to cut back on beauty expenses, The Budget Beauty Babe reviews a how-to-do-your-own-hair DVD. —BB

Yesterday I had the pleasure of going to see Confessions of a Shopaholic (great movie, I recommend it if you haven’t seen it) and it got me thinking: In what ways can women cut back in this economy in order to save some money? Like, reeeally save some serious cash?

A couple of years ago, when my own finances were particularly tight, I decided to start cutting and coloring my own hair. When I received really positive feedback about how my hair looked, I realized what a good idea it was, and I stuck with it. While this method of saving a buck may not be for everyone, I suggest toying with the idea at least for a moment to see if there’s a chance you can’t do at least one thing at home and save some cash.

Adam for MANGO Collection Now Available at Mangoshop

The new limited edition Adam Lippes for Mango collection is now available online. I've been a distant admirer of Lippes since he hit the fashion scene (ie., I like the look but don't own anything), so I was looking forward to this collab with Mango. Many of the pieces in this diffusion line are adorable, especially the dresses, but the prices are not cheap: A linen/cotton blend ivory skirt will cost you $79.90 while a purple trench will set you back $219.90. Guess I'll be stalking the sale section in a couple weeks. P.S. Does anyone else think Mango's website is a royal pain in the you-know-what to use? Wish they'd make it easier to browse, link to products, copy images. It's not blogger friendly at all. Anywho, get more details about the collection after the jump.
