Ask BB: Emma Watson's Burberry Dress for Less

I'm a senior in high school and not very girly but I want to look beautiful at prom, what girl doesn't? I fell in love with this dress that Emma Watson wore to the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute's 2010 Gala. After looking up the dress online, I found out it's a custom made Burberry dress, but I was wondering if you had any suggestions on other dresses similar or dresses you think I might like.

Here's a picture of the dress...

My budget is about $300, but anything below that would be amazing!! Thanks for reading and I would really appreciate any help or suggestions!! —Stephanie

Gorgeous dress but you don't make my job very easy! While it will be hard to find Emma's unique dress on a budget, here are some fabulous options that I think you'll love:

First, check out Renttherunway.com, where you can rent a designer dress at a fraction of the retail price. This David Meister one-shoulder gown is $100 to rent.

Get Anne Hathaway's Oscars Nail Polish Look for Less

Nude nails, from peachy to putty, are definitely a big nail polish trend for Spring 2011.

Anne Hathaway got a head start on this perennial classic, donning Deborah Lippmann's "Naked" clean bare beige polish for the Oscars. Matched all 8 outfit changes beautifully!

Compelled as I often am by random nail polish shades that I see on celebs, I mustered up the courage to check out the discount beauty store that's in the same strip mall as the grocery store where I usually do my shopping, and I lucked out with an amazing nude polish called Taupe Extreme by Nicka K. Cosmetics (toluene, formaldehyde and DBP free, too!). Cost: $1.00! Check it out:

As much as I love brights, I can see myself falling in love with this nude polish over and over again. Two coats and I was done. Love that it's not sheer.

Are you feeling spring's nude nail polish trend?

"MOVE" RACHEL Rachel Roy Spring 2011 Film

For her Spring 2011 RACHEL Rachel Roy look book, designer Rachel Roy found inspiration in 10 incredible dancers who come together to showcase the spring collection in a mesmerizing film entitled "MOVE," directed by Dominique Palombo and choreographed by Jermaine Browne. "Using dancers for the spring look book was an inspiring and powerful way to showcase young people pushing themselves through art," Roy said.

The static look book, full of bright and bold colors and patterns for spring, can be viewed here. With a few exceptions (H&M, Gap come to mind), it's rare to see affordable clothing lines come out with avant-garde marketing campaigns that really push the envelope. So thank you, Rachel Roy, for recognizing that people who don't have a lot to spend on fashion still have a lot to express through fashion.
