Sally Hansen Salon Effects Introduces Five New Designs for Summer

Sally Hansen has released five new designs for it's popular Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips collection, a line of no-smell, no-glue real nail polish strips that you simply press onto your own bare nails, shape and go. I love these things (review here) and think the new designs are really fun: There's Ay Ay Captain (blue and white stripes), Wicked Bamboo (tan vertical stripes), Don't Get Catty (pink leopard,) Show Your Stripes, (gray chevron), and Check, Please (checkered black and white). Available at drugstores nationwide for around $8 - $10 per box. Which designs are your favorite?

Fergie Dishes on Her New Fragrance for Avon, Outspoken Intense

Last month I had the chance to participate in a webinar Q&A with Fergie about her new fragrance, Outspoken Intense, a provocative follow-up to the original Outspoken, Avon's most successful fragrance launch to date. The Black Eyed Peas superstar talked about her inspiration for the scent and shared some of her own beauty and style secrets. I don’t usually get starstruck but I had a little moment when Fergie said she "really liked" the name of my blog (blushing) - but I digress. Keep reading for the scoop!

Kiss My Face Introduces New Travel Size Peace Soap

Just in time for summer, Kiss My Face has introduced their popular multi-purpose Peace Soap in a cute and convenient 3.4 oz. travel size container. I had the chance to try it out courtesy of Kiss My Face and I think it's absolutely delightful. I love the packaging (it features the word "peace" written in different languages), the subtle scents (Grassy Mint, Lemongrass Clary Sage, Lavender Mandarin and Pomegranate Acai) and the fact that 10% of all profits from Peace Soap go towards Seeds of Peace, an organization that aims to develop relationships and leadership skills among young people from regions of conflict.

Product Review: Band-Aid Friction Block Stick

About a year ago, I was complaining about blisters via Twitter when a reader whose name I unfortunately can not remember recommended that I try Band-Aid Friction Block Stick. I immediately ran to my local CVS drugstore and purchased the product, despite the diminutive size of the stick (only 0.34 ounces) and relatively steep price (I paid $8, but you can find it much cheaper online). Then, I put it to the test. Keep reading to see how it performed!
