LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's Holiday 2011 Lookbook

Kohl's is already thinking ahead to the holidays, having just released its LC Lauren Conrad holiday 2011 lookbook. Luckily, it's all very wearable and there isn't any red and green in sight. Instead, you'll see a mix of feminine dresses, printed blouses, loose knits and lightweight sweaterdresses - great pieces to wear now with jeans and flats, then layered with tights and boots as the temperature drops. Unique back details and touches of lace give the collection a flirty, playful feel, while the mostly blush pink, mint green and cool gray color palette lend a modern, versatile touch. I like the dresses in this round-up, and would love to see LC add handbags and clutches to her collection.

Glam Review: Timberland Earthkeepers

Timberland has a new line of ruggedly-stylish, eco-conscious boots called Earthkeepers, and recently I had the chance to put the Earthkeepers "Rudston" pull-on boots to the test courtesy of Glam. Made of rich black leather in a timeless silhouette, the "Rudston" is an undeniably cool boot that would feel at home in just about any girl's closet. The thick stacked heel and cushioned footbed makes them really comfortable - I've worn my pair for hours at a time without a hint of pain or discomfort. The wide shaft makes them easy to wear over jeans, or paired with leggings and a tunic.

Erickson Beamon for BaubleBar

One of my favorite online jewelry stores, BaubleBar.com, has teamed up with Erickson Beamon designers Karen Erickson and Vicki Beamon in the first of their new "Fusion" series of designer collaborations. Affordably priced from $65 to $250, the seven pieces—rendered in glass, crystal and gold- or rhodium-plated brass—are bright, colorful, and incredibly sparkly, perfect for the holiday season. In an interview, the designers said that the pieces were inspired by happiness. Suffice to say, just looking at these sparklers makes me smile! I'm in love with those red emerald-cut earrings. Amazing. Pre-sale for the collection began this past Friday, 10/14, and the collection will be available through 12/31.

Off the Rack: Marshall's Shoe Megashop October Highlights

I had a very successful afternoon of shopping today. First, I stopped at Old Navy where the fall clearance sale is now in full effect (apparently my store is behind the rest of the country according to your tweets). There, I finally snagged that striped sweaterdress I've been obsessed with for just $10.14. Score. I also bought tees for my huz ($4.50 each), some fuchsia capri pants for myself marked down to $9 and a striped dolman sleeve top for $6. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos at Old Navy because when I do, I don't end up actually shopping (it's gotta be one or the other, apparently I can't multitask).

I did, however, snap some pics at my next stop - the Marshalls Shoe Megashop - where I was happy to find what are quite possibly the perfect black flat ankle boots by Steve Madden for just $49.99. I realize these won't appeal to everyone but I am in love. I'm hoping these will be the only boots I need for my upcoming trip to Spain (on account that they've very Euro). Keep reading to see some of the other shoes that stood out to me, great deals on leather boots plus all the trends, from leopard print pumps to loafer pumps. Feel free to share your recent shopping finds/steals in the comments, love hearing what everyone is hunting for!

Lunch Hour Shopping: Save $15 Off $30 at Express

If you've been eying the latest fall fashions from Express, like those amazing colorblock pieces or knock 'em dead red suits, now's a great time to shop. They're doing one of their famous buy-more-save-more deals: Save $15 off $30, $30 off $75 or $75 off $200 with promo code 1791. When I see pieces like the ones from the Express runway (above) it almost makes me wish I still worked in an office just so I could stock up on sharp slacks, sexy pencil skirts and tailored blazers. Of course, even if you don't work in an office, Express has lots to offer - I may take advantage of their buy one, get one half-off sweater sale myself.
