Every year around this time I get a number of requests from readers looking for affordable faux-fur vests that look luxe, not muppet-like. The fast fashion giant is killing it this season with their outerwear options at amazing prices. And no animals were harmed in the process. Let the cozy layering commence.

Tuesday evening H&M hosted a VIP shopping event for the highly anticipated Isabel Marant for H&M collection - available at select H&M locations and online starting today, Thursday, November 14. This will be the first H&M designer collaboration that will be available for online purchase. In store sales started at 8am and customers can purchase a max of 4 of each item.

Online sales of the collection will begin at 12pm EST and customers can purchase only one of each item. Returns of the collection will be accepted within seven days and only with a receipt. Without a receipt or after seven days, it's store credit only.

The collaboration gives us fashionistas on a budget the opportunity to get our hands on many items that are clearly inspired by some of Marant's most well known hits; fringed boots, chic jackets and coats, flowy separates and tons of texture.

The VIP event was crazy! The shoes went first. I managed to scoop up a belt, tank, pants and blouse. Everything was fabulous, especially the coats.
