NYFW: Betsey Johnson's Spring 2015 Runway Show Was Buh-Nanas

Betsey Johnson Spring 2015 runway show

What can I say?! It was an experience; fun, flirty and soooo Betsey! This season models, "Real Housewives" and drag queens took the plunge in Betsey’s debut collection line geared to brides of all orientations. The audience (which included celeb guests Willow Shields, Miss J. Alexander, Jessica Hart, and Christina Milian to name a few) enjoyed the show and the clothes were super over-the-top and whimsical: mint green metallic and rainbow party frocks, playful lingerie, cage skirts, floral baby dolls and a tuxedo-style body suit, plus towering heels from the Betsey Blue bridal footwear collection. I loved the "PRENUP" theme that played out on giant crystal chokers, and the intoxicating energy of the show. If you want a taste of Betsey at home, tune in to Dancing with the Stars on Monday, Sept. 15, when the 72-year-old firecracker will be taking the dancefloor by storm no doubt with partner Tony Dovolani (who joined the designer for the finale!).

Altuzarra for Target Launch Party - See the Clothes in Real Life!

Party pics from the Altuzarra for Target launch event in New York City

Yesterday evening, Target hosted a launch event for the highly anticipated collaboration with 2014's CFDA Womenswear Designer of the year, Joseph Altuzarra. The Altuzarra for Target collection features about fifty pieces, all priced between $17.99 and $89.99, and will be available exclusively at Target, in select stores and online, and at Net-A-Porter, on Sunday, September 14. The collection includes an array of dressier pieces, appropriate for work, play and formal events; pencil skirts, blouses, pants, sweaters, dresses, blazers and trench coats with embellished details, prints and rich texture. It also includes fabulous accessories like statement belts and shoes. These pieces can also be dressed down and easily incorporated into any wardrobe. Overall, the Altuzarra for Target collection absolutely rings true to Mr. Altuzarra's sultry and sophisticated design aesthetic, and at its price point, is sure to please, and certainly not one to be overlooked.

I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a few of my favorites from the collection; the black sweater with gorgeous gold crane appliques at the shoulders, the printed orchid sweatshirt, the simple snake print tee and the classic cropped black tuxedo pants. Which pieces are your favorites?

Lands' End Shows Timeless Essentials and Updated Classics at Their Fall 2014 Press Preview

Lands End Fall 2014 press preview photos

In the late spring, Lands' End presented their amazing Fall 2014 collection, which is available starting now, and will continue to roll out through the end of the summer. The thing that I'm loving most about what Lands' End is doing is that they are taking their classic take on clothing and adding the perfect twist, as well as always remaining price conscious and accessible to fashionistas on a budget. The collection is filled with lots of color and texture, and so many must haves that are absolute staples. They can be added to any wardrobe and styled in so many ways, dressed up or down, for day or night. Most importantly, the collection is a reflection of Lands' End evolving into a more trendy and fashion conscious brand, which I love! Note the slim fit denim in a subtle camo or lattice print, or the lace-front sweatshirt - so right now! Which of the pieces are your favorites?

Sears Fashion Fall 2014 Collection Preview

A look from the Sears Fall 2014 fashion preview in NYC

Earlier this month, Sears presented their Fall 2014 collection featuring brands such as Kardashian Kollection, Bongo, US Polo & Assn, Canyon River Blues and more. In addition, Sears has partnered with Seventeen magazine to create a full line of clothing, shoes and accessories. As always, Sears offers an array of stylish apparel and accessories at affordable prices. Click through to see the photos I took at the preview - the blush pink dress with lace insets (above) was among my favorite pieces. And the critter sweaters for kids?! Let's just say I wish they were making those in adult sizes!
