Pixi by Petra Multibalm Review + Giveaway!

Win a set of 5 multibalms from Pixi by Petra on TheBudgetBabe.com!
I feel like it's been ages since I've hosted a giveaway on the blog, so when Pixi by Petra sent me a set of their new Multibalms, I knew I wanted to give you ladies a chance to try them for yourself! I've gushed about these over on my Snapchat...the Baby Petal is my favorite - a super subtle natural-looking pink - because they're basically foolproof, yet make a noticeable difference by highlighting lips and cheeks with a hint of color. Here's what Pixi has to say about their new Multibalms, available for $12 each at Target and pixibeauty.com:

"This multiuse, crème-powder formula awakens by adding a touch of colour to the face. Infused with aloe vera, shea butter, and rose hip oil to protect. Paraben free. Not tested on animals."

Here's what I'm giving away to one lucky reader (a $60 value!):
1 Wild Rose
1 Baby Petal
1 Soft Strawberry
1 Watermelon Veil
1 Sheer Sculpt

Pixi by Petra launched 17 years ago in London and is owned and developed by Petra Strand, a renowned makeup artist and creative product developer. Our philosophy is to be flawless in a few fuss-free minutes, and our innovative beauty and skincare products are infused with skin-loving ingredients to not only bring out but also preserve your natural beauty.

Why I love it:

I was totally on board with becoming a Pixi by Petra brand ambassador because I've been a fan of this line ever sine they launched at Target. From the chic packaging (love that pistachio green with rose gold!) to the high-quality performance, it's one of my go-tos. Petra Strand definitely understands what moms (or "mums" as she might say) need...multitasking products that are easy to use and give you a natural look.

Get Lupita Nyong'o's exact Forever 21 floral maxi dress for under $25!
When an Oscar winner wears Forever 21, we take note. Actress Lupita Nyong'o showed off her Forever 21 Contemporary Lace-Up Maxi Dress while out in Bali on her Instagram, August 5, 2016. She paired the summer essential with espadrille wedges, a straw hat, and red crossbody bag for a pop of color. 3 Dorm Ideas for 3 Style Personas

Dorm Room Decor Ideas on a Budget
Summer is coming to a close and school is starting soon! I don't know about you all but I can't wait to get back to my college campus. One of my favorite things about starting a new school year is decorating! You have free reign on how to decorate your space and can express yourself through your choices.

With that being said, here are three dorm room ideas for three types of girls. Although they are all different in style, they have one thing in common: All of the items are under $100! Read on for budget-friendly picks from some of my favorite places to shop for dorm decor, including my all-time favorite sheets, my favorite quilt for that home-away-from-home feel and more.

Dressing Room Review: Last Call for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

These dressing room pics will help you shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale .
{Shown above: Dress // Booties}

With just ONE DAY LEFT to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I headed back to Westfarms mall yesterday to see what was left and give the sale one last hurrah before prices go back up tomorrow, August 8. Anyone else feelin' the heat!?

I had already made a sizable purchase online (see what I bought here) but couldn't resist going back for more. I was somewhat surprised to find there was hardly anything left at my store! I know, I know, everyone warns you that stuff sells out - and they weren't kidding. If you waited until the last minute like me, the good news is that there's still plenty available online, and with free shipping and free returns, it's a no-brainer!

For a little real-life inspiration, here's what I tried on and picked up in round 2 of my shopping...er...saving spree:

Peachy Keen: Margot Robbie's Kimono and Slip Dress Look for Less

Margot Robbie Look for Less
Yes, yes, yes. There is nothing I love more than finding a minimalistic way to incorporate multiple trends in one ensemble and this outfit, featuring Spell & The Gypsy Collective's 'Isla Bonita' Embroidered Kimono in a peachy pink ($185, now available only in white) is an ideal example. Margot Robbie took a piece traditionally used as bedroom-wear and made it street-style worthy by pairing it with a simple '90s-inspired slip, python sandals, round sunglasses, simple jewelry and a saddle bag. In this look, we've recreated the feel with a short pink kimono from H&M and kept the playful layering similar by styling it with a longer slip (more length, more versatile).
