This was my first year participating in the Nordstrom sale, EVER, let alone with early access! I’m sure we’ve all noticed that things are selling out faster than our brains can handle. But I found that if you search by what you’re really looking for, as opposed to just what’s popular, there’s still much to choose from! Read on to see how, what, and why I chose!
This dress style is a ladylike classic for the books! Meghan Markle stuns in a bright canary yellow sheath dress (already sold out!) alongside her new hubby during an event in London. This was a refreshing sight, as she usually sticks to a neutral (yet still gorgeous) color palette. Perhaps Jackie Kennedy was an inspiration? This dress deserves all the attention, so nude pumps and dainty curved bar earrings will do, but we added a statement necklace and soft blue clutch to complete it and still look as splendid as a duchess!
We can definitely take notes from J-Lo on how to nail a glam look and confidently compliment her figure! Her white flare pants and satchel ensure that the colors pop like fireworks - but they are such great standout pieces themselves! Bonus finds here are the white flare jeans from Express, which run from sizes 00-18, and the yellow pumps are available in wide sizes on Amazon. Celeb favorite Christian Louboutins in neon yellow are a fab shoe to tie it all together...and what better time to experiment with bright colors than summer!
The queen of festival looks does it again, this time with a cowgirl vibe! Her embossed Valentino boots set the stage for a Western theme, with some help from her necklace, bandana scarf, and colorful fringe blanket. True cowgirl boots are worth the investment because they'll last a lifetime. But the pair we found at Macy's for under $50 is a good starting point if you're looking for something just to wear to a few country concerts or BBQs you have planned and save some cash. Not feeling this look? Good news is, a few accessory changes are all it takes for these denim shorts and white ruffle cropped tank to fit almost any setting you may find yourself in this summer.
