I'm in complete denial that summer is winding down. My oldest started first grade today and I'm already missing our long sunny days spent at the pool and the playground. One easy way to keep a little piece of summer year-round is with coastal decor.

Lately I'm loving everything seagrass - it brings such a warm, summery texture to any space. I wasn't exactly sure what seagrass was, so I looked it up. The term seagrass is used for a variety of flowering plants that grow in shallow coastal waters, including water hyacinth.

Walmart came back this season with another amazingly soft fleece pullover under $20! It's a great alternative to Nordstrom's popular Wubby Fleece Pullover, which retails for $78. I ordered the "look for less" in "oatmeal heather" and "rich black" in size medium as these ran small last year and I figured I wouldn't want mine too tight for layering.
