I Heart Ronson for JCPenney Spring 2011 Lookbook

Here's a first look at the I Heart Ronson for JCPenney Spring 2011 collection, available beginning now at jcp.com and JCPenney stores. Designer Charlotte Ronson keeps her downtown girl in mind with this line of dresses, tops, bottoms and denim priced under $58. Plaid tops and army greens flirt with the grunge trend of yesterday while girly dresses and the occasional pop of pink or pretty floral print keep things fresh and feminine. I kinda love the styling of this lookbook and think many of the individual pieces are very wearable, including the shirt dresses and slim cargo pants. Love the attitude!

I think I like the tunics/short dresses but it's difficult to tell based on how they are styled. The rest is totally meh.

And yet it's one of the most popular blogs on the market today, so obviously she's doing something right.

I just love it when people come and criticize something. If you think you can do better why don't you go start your own blog??

@Ides: Your name suits you. If you enjoy her writing style then don't keep reading. She's a damn fine blogger and a lot of people recognize that.

Don't you just love it when laughably brainless trolls who don't understand basic grammar come on your blog and leave nasty comments? Especially when they capitalize every other word and then complain of "subpar" writing. I guess it's a slow day in the comments sections on Yahoo.

And to all who don't like honesty: I was only giving my honest opinion. If you don't like it, too bad. Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion and being this a free country, can express it. I used capital letters to emphazise a point. Obviously, whoever read this wrong (or doesn't have decent reading skills), is the one who is brainless.

Yikes. I'll never understand why people feel compelled to surf around the web trashing bloggers. If you don't like what you read/see feel free to move along. Why waste your time/energy to leave a nasty comment?

This blog is insanely popular so your approval is not needed, nor was it solicited. If it's not suitable for your tastes, just don't read it. There is a sea of fashion blogs out there to choose from and I am sure there is one out that you will enjoy. There is no need to be rude or unkind to someone who you don't know, and who has done nothing to you.

Would you walk up to a stranger on the street and say such disparaging remarks? Yes, you are entitled to your opinion but what you've said here is far from constructive. It's just mean, rude, and hurtful. If you don't like the clothes, fine. Say that, but don't attack the blogger.

Socks with sandles is no more right for women than for men. This collection reminds me of my friend's dad mowing the lawn in black socks and sandles. Also, those floral tights... No thank you.

I don't like the collection. Who wears socks with sandals?

Love your blog!

The collection looks amazing!!! Love the socks and sandals actually... such a great spring trend!

I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed with the collection. I'm sure it works for some people, but just not my style. Oh well! Happy Saturday!

Some super cute items for spring. Minus the socks, I would probably go for a few of the looks :-)

i think i like the model more than the clothes, but i'm not sure. hard to tell. not digging the chunky socks with strappy sandals look. and the beanies with sundresses is weird but i like it somehow, regardless of how completely impractical (impossible) it'd be to wear, at least in the climate i live in.

I don't think I like the styling here, but I am pretty sure that the pieces individual are probably very cute! I just think that fashion took some baby steps away from the hipster grungy look in the past two seasons, and would have liked to see these pieces styled in a more sophisticated way (or maybe I am just getting old! Lol!)

... on the socks and sandals, I love it. It's actually be one of the hottest trends on the runways for the past couple of seasons. To all those who don't like it, let me tell you... I was right with you but I gave it a try and I actually liked it. It was very fun and playful!

Having a hard time visualizing these pieces without the weird styling. This is another time that I don't think I'm the target audience tho, lol.

I'd also like to throw this blog some love - my favorite fashion blog!

The third look, the one with the floral print, I actually purchased that dress this week. The straps aren't that color though, they're black. I saw it on a beauty contest on tv this sunday and I had to have it. It's cute! I'll be wearing it with wedges.
