Last week I was invited to check out the BaubleBar headquarters in New York City thanks to Grace Atwood, Director of Social Media. Grace and I have known each other through the fashion blogosphere for what seems like years now (she pens Stripes and Sequins), so when Grace started working at BaubleBar, she made sure to fill me in on the latest news from this new jewelry sensation.
BaubleBar aims to be your source for guilt-free costume jewelry so you can follow the latest trends and update your look without spending a fortune. During my visit, I got to play with dozens of gorgeous baubles, from artsy cocktail rings to chic enamel bracelets and colorful statements necklaces. More importantly, I got to vouch for the stellar quality of these pieces by seeing them in person.
I also got to meet Harvard Business School graduate and BaubleBar co-founder Daniella Yacobovsky, who revealed exactly how the company is able to keep their prices so low. "We work with the designers that supply high-end retailers," Daniella explains. "And then we sell you the same product but without that high markup."
