Target has partnered with the Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, to create unique graphic designs that are being used on a variety of apparel items and accessories as part of Target's Vintage Varsity collection for fall 2011.
Target's design team worked side by side with the museum's staff to create more than 100 different hand-pressed prints. The design team then toyed with scale, layering and color to translate the vintage wood type images into an eclectic collection encompassing t-shirts, hoodies, leggings, sweatshirts, sweatpants and totes for men, women and children.

I probably won't shop this because the clothes aren't my style, but I'm such a fan of printmaking and love the history behind this unique collab. Now, if Target teamed up with the museum to create a line of art prints and stationary, I'd be all over it...
