Ask BB: Mila Kunis' Lightning Bolt Necklace from Friends With Benefits

Not sure if you've seen Friends With Benefits, but Mila Kunis wears this super long skinny gold chain with a lightning bolt charm on it throughout the movie and I need it!! I'm not in love with the lightening bolt but in my quest for the right chain they're either too thick, too cheap looking, or not super long like hers. Help and I'll be forever indebted! —Samantha

According to Coolspotters, Mila's character Jamie wears a Lightning Bolt Necklace by White Trash Charms, which I found for $170 at PatriciaField.com.

Update: Mila's exact necklace is NOT by White Trash Charms, but by Lizzie Scheck and retails for $790. (via Possessionista)

But since that's a little pricey and you're not married to the whole lightning bolt idea, I would recommend checking out the offerings at TrueBirds.com. Run by a twin sister L.A. design team, this new-to-me accessories brand has a lot of long-strand pendants with unique charms like a working hourglass or magnifying glass - definite conversation pieces!

Most of their jewelry is under $50, but if you can wait until Wednesday, True Birds will be offering a special deal on Groupon, so I'd check that out. UPDATE: Here's the link to the Groupon Deal, it's listed under "Ventura County."

I did a search on etsy for "lightning bolt necklace" and a few options came up, like this one for example:

You can ask the seller to make the chain longer, they will usually do that for you.

I like this pendant the most, if you look really close at link that holds the pendant to the chain, this one looks the most like the White Trash Charms original:

And like Jeniffer said, take a look at forever 21. The only problem is they turn black really fast
