bebe BLACK Spring 2012 Runway Show

There are dozens of fashion shows that don't take place at Lincoln Center during Fashion Week, and the bebe BLACK Collection is one such show, presented by Style360 at the Metropolitan Pavilion. For Spring 2012, bebe presented an all-white collection with models styled in big, curly white haired wigs and oversized sunglasses. Think Lady Gaga meets Amadeus. There were some adorable knickers and flouncy, tiered dresses that looked like the undergarments I imagine Marie Antoinette might have worn. It was dramatic and edgy, and had it not been for the monochromatic fabric, I think I would have enjoyed this show a lot more. So much of the beautiful detail was difficult to see (and to photograph) because everything was white on white. It was a cool concept, I just would have liked to have seen more texture and color, just to get a better idea of what we'll see in bebe stores come spring. What do you?
