Win Cool Stuff: Patricia Nash Red Leather Satchel

UPDATE: Since so many of you loved this bag, I'm picking two winners! Pat Nash is sending one bag, and I'm sending the other (the one I was gifted). Our two winners are #57 Liz and #87 Laura Sether! Congrats to our winners and thanks to everyone who entered.

Please note: This giveaway has ended and is now closed to further entries.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, I've teamed up with Patricia Nash Handbags to offer one lucky BB reader the chance to win this red Rodano Satchel (retail value: $268). Drawing on 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, Patricia Nash noticed a gap in the marketplace for stylish, high-quality handbags at an accessible price point and she founded her namesake collection to fill that void. Taking inspiration from vintage silhouettes that wear well as they age, Nash's 100% Italian leather handbags effortlessly serve the modern woman. Beloved by celebrities like Denise Richards, the red Rodano Satchel is a fresh way to wear a bold color. The classic shape is an everyday style staple with lasting appeal.

To enter:

  • Tell us how you would style your Rodano Satchel if you won in the comments section below.

  • You must be willing to send us photo(s) of yourself carrying your bag for a Valentine's Day album on the Patricia Nash Facebook page if you win within one week of receiving your prize.

Hmmm, so many ways to style this. For a classic casual look, I'd do denim, black blazer, white or black blouse, and heels.

For work, all black (slacks, heels, cardi) and have it as the show piece.

The style and color of the bag makes it perfect for everyday!

The Patricia Nash Red Leather Satchel is a perfect classic staple to add to any wardrobe, especially in time for Valentine's Day! I would style my Rodano Satchel with a basic pair of black leather leggings, paired with a black peep-toe wedge, for a sleek and modern look. To add a little color I would follow the color-block trend and pick out a color-block tank, using primarily red and fuchsia tones. By keeping the bottom simple and classic and adding a splash of red to the top, it will help to bring out the bold color of the Red Leather Satchel as well as its classic outline. Perfect for the ultimate Valentine's Day outfit as well as an everyday look for the modern woman.
#13 Jacquelin Kollar on 2012-01-31 17:13
This bag would go great with a fabulous black corduroy blazer that I found recently at a thrift store. Add to that a pair of skinny jeans and peep toe pumps and I'll be ready to rock!

The Patricia Nash Rodano Satchel is a vintage-inspired piece that would bring pizazz to any outfit. An eye-catching red purse, this center piece needs little accompinament. I would pair it with a sleeveless pussy bow blouse (Carin Wester in cream) tucked into Ann Taylor's Stretch Twill High Waist Wide Leg Trousers. A pair of Ciao Bella's Platform Pumps in Cognac Leather, a sleek, high bun, and matte-red lips would complete this budget-friendly look.

For a simple daytime look, I'd wear it with black cardigan with khaki-colored suede elbow pads, white tanktop, dark wash jeans, thrifted Ralph Lauren white-and-brown oxford shoes, and silver bald eagle necklace. To make it appropriate for nighttime, I'll replace the black cardi with a black blazer, the Ralph Lauren oxfords with my brown Dolce Vita lace up booties, and switch out the necklace with gold thin hoops. Tuck the tank top in, then add another favorite thrift find of mine - brown braided belt.

Fabulous bag! I would wear it with plenty of outfits, for sure. One would be skinny black jeans with my sleek black riding boots, red blazer and red/black scarf.

My entire wardrobe is built around solid basics (navy, white, black) & I use accessories to change up the look. This bag would be an amazing addition. I could use it with casual clothing like a pair of basic navy jeans & white long sleeve t w/a navy/white print scarf or for work with a basic black skirt suit, white turtleneck w/a red print scarf. It would work w/a nautical look...the possibilities are endless!

If i won this timeless Rodano Satchel i would style it with a modern take on a classic neutral look. Working to successfully mix browns and blacks with a hint of tans and whites i would start with a sheer blouse and a nice fitted tan blazer over some slimming dark pants. Which would end with a nice chunky platform heel/wedge in a brown or tan along with some nice chunky accessories to complete the look. For makeup i would work again with neutrals expect for a daring red lip to complement the red bag which would be my bright pop of color. Topped off with a nice headband to complete this look. :-D
