Vera Wang Beauty for Kohl's

Vera Wang is bringing a line of cosmetics to Kohl's, where the designer already has a successful fashion line. The Simply Vera Vera Wang Cosmetics line will include 74 products priced from $16.50 to $39.50, reports WWD.

I'm really surprised the price points are so high, even though I'm sure it'll go on sale within a week or so of launching. I'd rather buy M.A.C. or something if I'm going to spend $20 on a lipgloss.

Look for the line in Kohl's stores and online starting next month. Will you be purchasing?

I agree with you on the prices. I would rather put that money towards my other fave high end brands. Only positive is for people who like higher quality (assuming this is comparable to other high end products), it'd be easy to pick something up while at Kohl's without having to go to the mall or wherever. I doubt I'll even try it though.

This product line doesn't interest me in the slightest, but I'll probably check it out once it's launched.

I think my interest in the SVVW line as a whole has waned quite a bit in the past year or so, which probably explains my disinterest in this.

I definitely agree. The prices are a bit high for my liking and from what I've seen, the make-up rarely is on sale, but is discounted with coupons. I used to buy the Flirt lipstick religiously and it was always full price, but all coupons applied. I didn't mind paying full price a couple of times, but then I felt $12 was higher when I could buy M.A.C at a close cost or just stick to my favorite drug store options for less. None the less, I will check it out for the heck of it. Maybe I will fall in love.
