Target Fall 2012 Fashion Lookbook

Last spring I took you guys behind the scenes at the Fall 2012 Target press preview in New York City, and you loved the cropped tweed jacket, leopard pants, and tan trench with black piping (among other things). Now, we've got the full lookbook from Target, showcasing key trend pieces from in-house brands like Merona, Mossimo, Converse One Star, and Xhilaration. I've already picked up a few pieces, including a plaid blazer, leopard pencil skirt and leopard slipper loafers. Let these photos inspire you to go ladylike, colorblock in new ways, mix prints or try a new hue like yellow ochre or oxblood. If you have questions about specific pieces, let me know in the comments and I'll get you the deets.

Click through for lots more photos.

Love the tan trench with the black detail. Is this in stores yet? What brand is it? Thanks!

The trench is by Merona, $49.99, here's the link:

While the Target website says "online only," I saw this trench in store last week. It runs a bit large - which is fine if you're layering over chunky sweaters - but you may want to go one size down.

Is all of this already available online? I went to the site to find that fab tweed black blazer (with the black skirt and tights) and it's not showing up.

Here are details on that look (reminds me of Isaac Mizrahi back in the day!):

Merona Knit Turtleneck Sweater in Black $14.99; Merona Short Peacoat in Pink $49.99; Mossimo Black Ponte Leggings in Black $19.99; Merona Tote in Black Leather/Gray Tweed $29.99

Some of the looks are very nice.... But, mixing patterns can look chic, but Target just made it look odd. Nice try, Target!

I agree, the combinations are a little odd. Maybe the extreme pattern mixing will grow on me in time. All the pieces are really nice on their own though, especially that black and white button down.

I was at Target and thought wow they have a bunch of great pieces. I had to pick and choose wisely. I love the pairing ideas.

I'm with Allison. I LOVE the red pants/blazer/striped shirt outfit. Any deets on these items?
#9 Karin on 2012-09-04 15:18 (Reply)
I think the jeans are Mossimo $22.99, the striped sweater is Merona, $19.99, and the blazer is Merona, $34.99. I love that look, too, head to toe!

really diggin the leopard print pants, any details on those?

**Except the 4th to last one - the EXTREME pattern mixing. I am HATING the tops together. I just don't get that look. Looks so odd!! Like it's too buttoned up and then the cardigan is too low cut... it just looks so off to me! I hope I am not the only one that thinks this! LOLOL

I am OBSESSED with the mini black ruffle skirt and its styled so professionally. So so perfect. It reminds me of a toned down tule skirt.

How much is it and when is it for sale?
#14 Allison (Homepage) on 2012-09-05 01:17 (Reply)
@Allison - The skirt is by Converse One Star and it's $24.99, here's the link to purchase:
