Last week, the LO and I went to T.J.Maxx to see what's new for fall. My self-appointed mission was to scout out the latest trends, and there were many. Keep reading for my visual guide to the latest fall retail trends as seen at TJ's - which ones are you loving? Buying? Totally not into?
Shown above: MIXED MATERIAL jackets are all the rage for fall.
COBALT BLUE as seen on the runways at Michael Kors and others is a huge color trend for fall.
MILITARY details are marching back once again (when are they NOT in?!)
QUILTING is on everything from outerwear to footwear.
SWEATSHIRTS are in - the stud detailing on the shoulders is what makes this one go from "schlumpy" to "chic".
WHIMSICAL PRINTS from little hearts to polka dots continue to trend for fall, as seen on this Juicy Couture blouse (just $39.99!)
VARSITY JACKETS are a sporty option for casual weekends.
LACE is another on-trend embellishment for fall - love the application on this top!
LEATHER JACKETS real or faux are a must-have. Try gray or another hue for a modern update.
COZY CARDIGANS - you can never have too many for fall layering. Loving these polka dots!
BERRY HUES are what we're calling burgundy this season (last season it was oxblood). And yes, this bag's by Foley & Corinna!
STATEMENT NECKLACES are here to stay. I've heard statement earrings are "in" this season instead but I'm not buying it. All of us have invested way too much in oversized necklaces to give up this trend just yet!
HEY, wasn't that frog bracelet at J.Crew?!
PEPLUM and LEATHER DETAILING mix perfectly on this trendy top that you can style for day or night.
Cute clutches on clearance by Rebecca Minkoff. Not a trend per se but I wanted to share.
